REHOBOTH MINISTRY

“And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so you are in My hand.” (Jeremiah 18:4, 6)
“The Vessel that he made of clay was marred … so he made it again into another vessel.” We are “the vessel” that is marred. “Marred” means to impair the soundness, perfection or integrity; blemished or scarred. The Word of the Lord tells us the potter made “it”, the same vessel, “into another vessel”. He made it “anew” – afresh, once again, in a new or different more positive way – ready to be used by the Master for a special purpose.
In the life of every believer there is some degree of marring and requires a make-over. The Father has ordained Rehoboth “From Marred to Ministry” Retreat as a time of refreshing and renewal for a spiritual-repair.
In St. Mark 6:31, Jesus told the Apostles, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” The Lord will often ordain a respite for our spirit, soul and body. Rehoboth “From Marred to Ministry” Retreat, is a place where you can withdraw from your day-to-day life and retreat to a place to be refreshed spiritually. We invite you to come,

Bio of Bishop Josephine Bracy-Smith and About rehoboth ministry
Bishop Josephine Bracy-Smith is the visionary of Rehoboth Ministry. She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age and was filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 23. She accepted her call into ministry November 1993, was licensed to preach December 1993, and ordained as an elder October 2001 at Mt. Liberty Full Gospel Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio. While a member of Mt. Liberty, she worked in various ministries of the Church, from singing in the choir to Praise Team Leader/Choir Director, from Sunday School Teacher to Superintendent of Sunday School, from accepting her call into the Ministry to being ordained as an Elder.
In 2004, she was obedient to the Lord when He told her to relocate to Houston, Texas. There were times when she questioned this move but never doubted Him. Although Houston was a "strange land" for her, she constantly sought the Lord's guidance regarding her ministry and purpose. It was during her pursuit of the will of the Lord in her life that Rehoboth Ministry was conceived and birthed.
As founder and visionary of Rehoboth Ministry:
The first gathering was held in October 2005.
The first annual "From Marred to Ministry” Retreat was held November 2006.
As the ministry continued to evolve, Rehoboth Fellowship was born in January 2015.
Rehoboth Fellowship and Worship Center birthed January 2016.
As a result of the pandemic, April 2020, Rehoboth Hour of Exhortation (Zoom Ministry) was established.
After a period of observation, June 7, 2019, Bishop Smith was consecrated into the Gift Office of Bishop by FreshFire Fellowship Ministries International - Founder, Primate Prelate Bishop, Apostle Dr. Andre E. Matthews.
Bishop Smith's confession is that of Apostle Paul where he states in Galatians 1:11, 12, "the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." She gives all glory and honor to the Lord for choosing, separating and anointing her for the work of The Kingdom.
Her testimony is according to Galatians 2:20, "The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
